Install entryway luxury vinyl tile in 261 rooms throughout the client’s hotel, a luxury destination resort in Northern California.

Our scope of work was as follows:

  • Prepare subfloor to receive acoustical floor underlayment (e.g., skim coat).
  • Furnish & install acoustical floor underlayment.
  • Install client-supplied LVT flooring (luxury vinyl tile).
  • Furnish & install Schlutertransition metals.
  • Installation of client supplied ¼” round molding.


The high-traffic entry ways in the rooms of this resort hotel were getting worn and the client needed to match the luxury look of the floors with durable vinyl tile.  Over a period of time from November 2014 through March 2015, we installed LVT in the entryway of 261 rooms throughout the facility. This work was completed on time and within budget.
